Patient Concerns: Felt the deep horizontal wrinkles on forehead, lip lines, and frown lines were making her look old.
Doctor Diagnosis: Glabellar lines “11’s”, forehead lines, and lip lines are becoming deeply set which will require repeated treatment to fully go away.
Treatment: Botox injected in forehead, above the lips, and between eyebrows. Results shown are 8 days after injections with patient making the same faces as “before” photos.
Patient Concerns: Some lines are starting to develop, and I want to stop them in their tracks. Also, I am seeing volume loss around the mouth and lip area.
Doctor Diagnosis: The “11’s” are starting to have deep, permanent lines. Additionally, facial collagen loss around the mouth and lips are leading to unsightly depressions around the mouth while the lips are beginning to “deflate”.
Disclaimer: As we get older, facial collagen loss happens to everyone at a pace of roughly 1% collagen volume loss per year.
Treatment: Botox and dermal filler injections to tighten skin and replace lost collagen volume. Lip enhancements with dermal filler and Botox to provide plump lips with some upturn or “flip”.
Patient Concerns: My smaller upper lip size doesn’t match my larger lower lip and some facial lines are starting to be noticeable.
Doctor Diagnosis: Lip size discrepancy, noticeable from frontal, and profile views. Upper lip needs enlarged; lower lip needs plumped. Additionally, patient has some lines between the brows and around the mouth that need plumped to tighten dermal surface and provide a youthful appearance.
