Get Your Dream Smile
Depending on your starting smile and your desires for the final outcome, veneers are sometimes used in combination with other cosmetic treatments, like whitening, gum lifts, Botox, and SureSmile Clear Aligners.
SureSmile is a revolutionary type of nearly invisible, clear braces that make straightening discreet.
Minor gum recontouring can raise your gum line or create symmetry.
As veneers do not change color over time, Professional Teeth Whitening prior to veneers allows us to design the veneers in a way that blends seamlessly with your natural teeth and enhances the overall brightness of the result.
At your consultation, Dr. Huffman will want you to share everything you love and dislike about your current smile along with your desires for your custom-designed new smile with veneers. At that time, any additional options for cosmetic enhancement can be fully discussed.
Dental veneers are made of porcelain 0.2mm to 0.5mm thick. Bonding this porcelain onto individual teeth can significantly improve the appearance of your teeth, correcting imperfections and enhancing color, with minimally invasive techniques.
Dr. Huffman custom designs each individual veneer to you to achieve a natural appearance and highlight the inherent beauty of your face. When done right, people should not be able to detect that your enhanced smile isn’t the one you were born with and instead is the result of the skillful blend of dentistry and art. The results are lifechanging!
Nothing brightens a smile more than natural-looking porcelain veneers. Several factors affect the cost of your treatment. At your consultation, Dr. Huffman will determine how many veneers you need and whether additional dental work is first required.
At Belpre Dental Studio, veneers cost approximately $1,100 each. We do offer flexible payment plans (like interest free CareCredit) and we will help you make the most cost-effective choice.
We understand that dental expenses can often feel overwhelming. Our Denise works closely with patients to help them achieve their dental care goals. Please schedule a private consultation to further discuss the financial options available to you.
Can I whiten or straighten my teeth along with veneers?
Yes. Professional teeth whitening is a popular add-on to the veneers process. We advise getting your teeth whitened first, so that when we custom design your veneers, they match your brighter, lighter shade.
Although porcelain veneers are strong and durable, they will likely not last forever. How long each veneer lasts depends on the quality of the application and the way you take care of them. Porcelain veneers can be susceptible to damage. If not done correctly, they can break or come loose from the tooth, causing them to need reapplied or replaced sooner.
It is important to select a highly-skilled dentist for your veneers. Dr. Huffman’s expertise in smile makeovers means he’s adept in design and application of veneers. With all the smile makeovers Dr. Huffman has done, he’s never had a veneer come off! (Check out some of his cases here.)
In order for you to maximize the lifespan of your veneers, it is essential to follow daily hygiene practices and have regular check-ups – though that’s also good advice for even those without veneers!
Neglecting this fundamental maintenance can allow decay to develop underneath of the veneer, even when the veneer looks great on the surface. Over time, if enough damage occurs beneath the veneer, the tooth may no longer be able to support a veneer. Daily brushing and flossing coupled with routine professional cleanings and exams will help you avoid this.
It is also good to avoid eating very hard foods and biting your nails.
Note: Although regular brushing and flossing at home helps to remove bacteria and food particles in your mouth, there are some areas that are difficult to clean. Certain kinds of bacteria, like tartar (hardened plaque), can only be removed using professional tools in the dentist’s office. We also have the technology to detect any decay early enough to address it before your veneers are compromised.
