“Extremely thankful for Belpre Dental Studio and their team! Our child had a noticeable head tilt that we were going to PT for, as well as some eating problems. After talking with a colleague at work, it was brought to our attention that our daughter might have a tongue and lip tie. Our daughter had problems latching, reflux, upper lip was tucked under the bottle nipple, clicking when eating a bottle, trouble gaining weight, and popping a pacifier out. After making and appointment and discussing our concerns with the Belpre Dental team, our daughter was diagnosed with a grade 3 tongue and lip tie. The team was able to care for her the same day and the procedure only took a couple of minutes. Afterwards we met with Taylor and she reviewed everything with us, she took her time and didn’t rush us out of the office and answered any questions we had. We instantly fed our daughter a bottle and during that feed we notified immediate improvement! After retuning to PT our therapist also noticed a huge improvement with her head tilt. I couldn’t recommend them enough, only regret is that we didn’t go sooner to help our daughter!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our 3 week old’s tongue and lip tie release. I called with concerns of a tongue tie and had an appointment scheduled for the very next day. Dr. Huffman and Taylor did an amazing job with our baby and explaining the procedure to us. The procedure itself was very quick, and we were given a private room to breastfeed immediately after. There was an immediate difference in nursing after the release- not 100% pain free but much more comfortable than it had been before. Taylor explained how to do stretches, what to expect with symptoms and nursing in the days and weeks following, and was great to answer any questions we had. Dr. Huffman, Taylor, and the staff took away so much of our anxiety we had going into the appointment. We were amazed at the kindness and professionalism with the entire staff. I greatly appreciate their help with improving my baby’s latch and making breastfeeding much more enjoyable for the both of us. It has now been a few weeks since the procedure and we are so happy with the results!”

“Belpre Dental Studio was recommended to us by a lactation nurse we worked with for our 2 week old due to him having a poor latch. Dr. Huffman diagnosed his tongue and lip ties and was able to quickly and easily take care of them using a laser technique. You can tell that the staff is used to working with small babies, and as first time parents, my husband and I appreciated the time they took to explain everything. Taylor even took the time to help us nurse right after my son’s procedure and called twice to check in on him during the first week. We have noticed a big improvement in his latch and other symptoms and are so happy we made the decision to have him evaluated!”

“Our baby had a severe tongue tie, and we were concerned about the procedure. Dr. Huffman and the nurses, especially Taylor, addressed our questions and reassured us. After the release, they followed up by phone several times to ensure our baby was healing correctly and doing well. The office is lovely and caters to parents of babies undergoing a tongue-tie release. They have comfortable, well-stocked recovery rooms where you can nurse after the procedure. “We saw Dr Huffman with our 7-day-old newborn for tongue and lip tie release! It was super stressful for me as a new mom but they were super fast and efficient. Taylor did a wonderful job talking me off the ledge and helping me to feel better about the whole process. Our baby is now 3wks old and although we don’t have 100% improvement yet on our breastfeeding journey. We are showing improvement and I think with the help of the Osteopathic Dr they recommended we will slowly get to right where we need to be!
